Support the Imperial College COVID-19 Response Fund

In response to queries from many alumni and friends on how they can help the College and support essential works in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, Imperial College London has launched the Imperial College COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund provide flexibility for the College to respond immediately to critical areas such as:

EpidemiologyProf Neil Ferguson has helped advice the government through mathematical models of transmission.

VaccinesProf Robin Shattock has developed a novel vaccine that is now in animal studies. Your help will support human clinical trials which will start as soon as possible.

DiagnosticsProf Myra McClure has converted one of our laboratories into a NHS COVID-19 virus testing lab capable of testing 1,500 patients per day. Prof Chris Toumazou has developed a point-of-care COVID-19 test which requires no laboratory or special training to use.

TherapiesProf Tony Gordon, Prof Peter Openshaw and Prof Wendy Barclay are involved in various clinical studies of COVID-19 and general work into respiratory viruses such as the coronavirus.

Care – Support for our Faculty of Medicine students, doctors and many other staff volunteering at the front line of our NHS hospitals across west London.
